The south Indian coastal state of Kerala has been badly hit by torrential rains during the past week. The rains caused landslide and debris flow that blocked the roads.
At least 108 people were killed by the mud flow and debris while 128 more have been injured and being given medical treatment in hospitals. The state chief minister Vijayan has called it the worst natural disaster in the history of the state.
