Cyclone Michaung made landfall at the southern Indian coast on Tuesday. The cyclone was preceded with intense winds up to 100 km and torrential rains causing flooding that killed at least 13 people.
Tall waves submerged entire villages disrupting all transportation as more than 390,000 people felt its impact while more than 15,000 people were evacuated ahead of landfall, reported Reuters.
