As predicted earlier by the Met Department that most of Pakistan will face a severe heatwave where temperatures may go up 50C in some parts of the country, it finally happened yesterday. In Mohenjo Daro district in the Sindh province, the highest temperature of 53C was recorded yesterday the highest ever recorded.

District Dadu in Sindh province recorded the temperature of 51C. Whereas, district Sukkar in Sindh and Sibi in Baluchistan recorded 50C. The Met Office has predicted that the heatwave will continue for the next few days in the most parts of the country. Climate change has been associated with the increasing temperatures in the country. Pakistan is one of those countries that have been hit the hardest in world by climate change.
